Cruising Scenic China Tour

Tour through China by boat and see a diverse selection of sights and sounds from the middle kingdom. You’ll visit many popular tourist destinations, as well as take in some experiences that are a bit more off the beaten path.

You will take a full day’s tour of Tianamen Square, the Forbidden City, and the Temple of Heaven. After a full day tour of the Great Wall of China, you’ll be off to Dengfeng to see the Shaolin Temple, Pagoda Forest, and Shaolin Weapons Factory.

In Xian, you’ll take a guided tour of the Ancient City Wall and Wild Goose Pagoda. That evening, you’ll feast on dumplings and watch a Tang Dynasty Show.

Next, you’ll be whisked away for a full day’s excursion to Mt. Hua in the Shaanxi province. Mt. Hua is one of China’s Five Great Mountains, and has a long history of religious significance.

You’ll also check out the Ghost City Of Feng Du – an attraction that is modelled after the concept of Hell in Buddhism and Chinese mythology.

You will cruise by ship through the Qutang Gorge, Wu Gorge, and Xiling Gorge. This trip will culminate in your arrival at Mt. Wudang. Mt. Wudang is one of the most important scenic spots in all of China, and is of extreme cultural significance, being the most important mountain in Taoism. On the mountaintop, you’ll watch a Taiji show and spend the evening in a hotel atop of Mt. Wudang.

You’ll also visit the Golden Palace atop of Tianzhu Mountain. The walls of the Golden Palace are 1500 meteres long including the four elaborately decorated gates.

At the end of your trip, you’ll take a tour of Shanghai Museum, Yu Yuan Gardens, and explore the market streets of Shanghai.

  • Day 1- Hometown Fly to Beijing
    Depart from the United States on to Beijing.
    Day 2- Arrival Beijing (D)
    Arrive in Beijing, the capital of the People’s Republic of China. Meet your guide upon arrival and transfer to hotel.
    Day 3- Beijing (B L D)
    Full day city tour to Tian’anmen Square, Forbidden City, temple of heaven.
    Day 4- Beijing Fly to Zhengzhou (B L D)
    Full Day excursion to Great Wall at Simatai Section with cable car. Take the evening flight to Zhengzhou. Meet the tour guide at airport and transfer to Hotel.
    Day 5- Zhengzhou Bus to Dengfeng Bus to Luoyang (B L D)
    Drive to Dengfeng, and visit Shaolin Temple, Pagoda Forest, Shaolin Weapon Factory. Drive to Luoyang, visit Longmen Grottos.
    Day 6- Luoyang Train to Xi’an Bus to Mt. Hua (B L D)
    Take the high-speed train to Xi’an, and transfer to Mt. Hua by coach. Full afternoon excursion at Mt. Hua by cable car/mountain climbing.
    Day 7- Mt. Hua Bus to Xi’an (B L D)
    Full day excursion tour to Terra-Cotta Warriors Museum, Ancient City Wall, Wild Goose Pagoda square. Enjoy the dumpling dinner and Tang Dynasty show in the evening.
    Day 8- Xi’an Fly to Chongqing Bus to Cruise (B L D)
    Morning visit Shaanxi Museum, Moslem street, drive to the airport after lunch for the flight to Chongqing. Arrive in Chongqing airport transfer to the pier Board the Yangtze River cruise ship.
    Day 9- Cruise (B L D)
    Shore Excursion to the Ghost City of Fengdu.
    Day 10- Cruise (B L D)
    11:00, Set sail, passing through Qutang Gorge;
    12:30-16:30, Shore Excursion to the Lesser Three Gorges;
    22:00-02:00, pass through the Three Gorges Dam ship locks.
    Day 11- Cruise Train to Yichang Bus to Mt. Wudang (B L D)
    07:30-10:30, Shore excursion to the Three Gorges Dam.
    12:00, Disembark at Peach Blossom pier in Yichang.
    After lunch transfer to Mt. Wudang by coach; enjoy the Taiji show.
    Day 12- Mt. Wudang Bus to Wuhan (B L D)
    Full day excurison at Mt. Wudang, visit Golden palace which is located at the top of Tianzhe Mountain. After dinner transfer to Wuhan by coach.
    Day 13- Wuhan Fly to Beijing Fly to USA (B)
    Transfer to airport in the morning for flight connect to Beijing to USA.
